Josef Albers Museum Quadrat Bottrop
Das Josef Albers Museum zeigt die erste große institutionelle Einzelausstellung mit Werken von Catherina Cramer (*1988), der Preisträgerin des Förderpreises »Kataloge für junge Künstler*innen« der Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Stiftung. Unter dem Titel »The Long Goodbye« beschäftigt die Künstlerin sich kritisch mit den historischen und gesellschaftlichen Dimensionen des Krankseins innerhalb von patriarchalen Gesundheitsregimen und reflektiert dabei intensiv über Konzepte wie Self-Care und Resilienz, die nicht zuletzt im Zuge der COVID-19-Pandemie eine neue Aktualität erfahren haben.
